The Sylvanian Golden Brown Family was released in 2005 and has six members : Cuthbert Porridge (Father), Lauren Porridge (Mother), Jack Porridge (Brother), Chloe Porridge (Sister), Teddy Porridge (Baby boy) and Hetty Porridge (Baby girl).
Father Cuthbert Porridge is the best toy maker in the whole of Sylvania. His doll houses and doll furniture are every girl's dream presents. Every boy would like one of his wooden train sets or one of his cuddly Teddy bears.
Mother Lauren Porridge likes everything neat and tidy, which is why she will not venture anywhere hear Cuthbert's workshop. The thought of all the mess really upsets her!
Brother Jack Porridge likes to help his dad in the workshop, especially when there is painting to be done. Jack loves a mess and often gets more paint on his paws and face than on the toys he's painting for his father.
Sister Chloe Porridge likes having all her friends stay for a sleep over, just so they can all play with her large lovely dolls house and furniture.
Baby Teddy Porridge takes after his mother and has all his rattles and playthings placed neatly around him.
Baby Hetty Porridge is completely hare-brained and can never remember where she puts any of her things!
