The Sylvanian Brown Bear Family was origianlly released in 1992 and has six members : Maurice Marmalade (Father), Margot Marmalade (Mother), Oscar Marmalade (Brother), Ottilee Marmalade (Sister), Kit Marmalade (Baby boy) and Karenza Marmalade (Baby girl).
Father Maurice Marmalade is so incredibly fussy, neat and tidy, that he drives everyone mad. "A place for everything and everything in its place," is his motto.
Mother Margot Marmalade believes in keeping up appearances. She even has a special voice for answering the telephone.
Brother Oscar Marmalade is very sporty however he loves any games more than ever where he can get dirty! His father is always scolding him about his appearance.
Sister Ottilee Marmalade is a tomboy and wants to be a fire fighter when she is older. She's constantly practising her fire fighting skills by climbing trees and running amok with the garden hose.
Baby Kit Marmalade is always fighting with his baby sister and being naughty!
Baby Karenza Marmalade is always fighting with her baby brother and generally being loud.
