The Sylvanian Dog Family was origianlly released in 1998 and has six members : Percy Beagle (Father), Prunella Beagle (Mother), Harold Beagle (Brother), Antonia Beagle (Sister), William Beagle (Baby boy) and Fiona (Baby girl).
Father Percy Beagle is the Sylvanian master baker. At 4 o'clock every morning (except on Sundays) you'll find him making and baking his lovely crusty loaves at the Beagle & Beagle Bakery. He works hard getting them ready to be delivered, still deliciously soft and warm, to his customers in time for their breakfasts.
Mother Prunella Beagle helps her husband in the bakery as often as she can. Her speciality is making cakes for special occasions. Big, small, tiny, tall, Prunella will bake cakes of any size, shape, colour or filling.
Brother Harold Beagle who makes all of the bakery's deliveries on a heavy old black bicycle with a big wicker basket on the front where he puts the loaves. Although he doesn't know what he wants to be when he grows up, he knows he certainly is not going to be a baker!
Sister Antonia Beagle loves baking bread. She loves everything about it, especially the deliciously warm smell of the freshly baked loaves.
Baby William Beagle loves nothing better than to spend all day playing in the Sylvanian sandpit. He used to be very fond of putting his foot in his mouth, but the taste of sand soon cured him of that!
Baby Fiona Beagle is a lovely little girl who has just grown her first teeth. She loves nothing better than chewing on one of her fathers fresh baked crusty rolls!
